Month of July just came up as $346.71
Well let's say you're paying $1.70 per litre for petrol, then $400 equates to around 235 litres of fuel for 4373 km.
That's close to 19 km/l (or 53 mpg), not too bad really.
The issue seems to be the distance not the consumption, but I guess you know this!?![]()
I spend between $15-$35 a week on gas, 10000km service is due in 500km so bike is getting a rest so I can buy more time to save for the service.
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.
Your numbers don't sound too bad TOTO. I did about 1000km from Wellington - Auckland, mostly over the speed limit, and that came in at $122. Running high octane, and mostly filled up at BP.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
Are you buying mince and cheese pies when you top up with petrol?
