Well let's say you're paying $1.70 per litre for petrol, then $400 equates to around 235 litres of fuel for 4373 km.

That's close to 19 km/l (or 53 mpg), not too bad really.

The issue seems to be the distance not the consumption, but I guess you know this!?

I spend between $15-$35 a week on gas, 10000km service is due in 500km so bike is getting a rest so I can buy more time to save for the service.
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.

Your numbers don't sound too bad TOTO. I did about 1000km from Wellington - Auckland, mostly over the speed limit, and that came in at $122. Running high octane, and mostly filled up at BP.

How many jealous souls out there?

No wonder you are so smooth Toto.

    Ditto.

$403.58 = Either too many Ks or too many revs.
