Hit where it hurts - smack in the wallet

Did the WoF && Rego thing for the year

I like to keep the paperwork sorted so I can ride just whenever I want

    But ouch that was expensive

Around a dollar a day just for the priviledge of a bike that can be used

And of course real running costs (tyres, chain, fuel oil etc) are on top of that again

Don't know about you guys - but as a recreational rider I actually have some trouble finding that sort of money these days

    Yup,

I can only ever afford 3 months rego at a time. But what are you gonna do? Not like you'd give up riding eh!

If it wasn't for the insurance angle I would just risk the ticket. Highway fucking robbery the price of rego now.

Just make sure you only get caught once a year, otherwise the rego will be cheaper again.

I had to buy 3 months rego last time, too goddamn broke.

Come to think of it, I think it's coming up again in a couple weeks, I don't even have a WOF
Not that I've ridden it much.

Hmm, definitely looks worth putting rego on hold. You can still get a warrant with the rego on hold I think? However I've moved out Henderson way, and get pulled up all the time due to riding a very boy racery VFR400R with pretty white red and blue colours. At least they are checking that it hasn't been stolen.

You do realise all my combined running costs and insurances is still cheaper than your servicing on your KTM?

And I wasn't complaining, I reckon still got a couple more bikes to get yet!

Maybe you can paint them all the same colour and use identical decals using one rego

I have 6 bikes 3 currently on the road 1 getting ready to go back on the road two for that when no body is looking moments

and according to the doc I'm not to ride until june next year

I got three. No wof/reg for the car, and no wof on the bike (didn't no it was out)...

Sorted the bike that day... $200 for not keeping tabs on paper work

As for the car, it has no reg because it failed WOF on headlights not 'focussing' into a solid line. It illuminates the road, and doesn't blind people when not on high beam so go figure. Cost of a new set of headlights... about $400. It pays to get things sorted before they run out!
