You should go to the one round the corner from ya mrs... it retracts back into the machine and is up against the wall so takes a special kind of retard to break

The hose would also end up with splits in it so you would have to cut it down, which meant that people who parked too far away had to stretch it around their vehicle to reach which meant that it split again. It was an endless cycle :/

I like the digital ones though but still, people manage to split the damn hose and they let more air out than in.

    +1 for home compressor!
Haha I am so pedantic with those things. I often unroll it again because I don't think it is coiled good enough. I guess it comes from rolling cables for years.

so i found a mobil near my motorway onramp that has a working pump. while waiting in the queue i had an interesting chat with a courier driver about how friggen useless cagers are (oh the irony) and exactly how many pumps in west auckland work. we could think of three, one of which is intermittent.

heck once i made the mistake of filling up on the northern autobahn - left with half the pressure i arrived with and had to ride to silverdale before i could fix it

i dunno about that; anything with double discs is usually a prick

actually that's not a bad idea... my 12v pump has a buggered gage on it so is only really good for the dirtbikes

might also mean the tyres are properly cold too...

never considered that before, and sure enough tonight i re-did the pressure at a caltex just down the road from uni and it read 5 psi less than the mobil out west.... either that or there is a leak in the tyre.

i did find the old style gauge/nozzle thing on the ground though...

lol, Brown Fury is currently completely dismantled for the most thorough clean and service it's ever had! the only stuff left intact is the shocks and gearbox

the new little end bearing arrived today! hopefully this one fits but I won't get to find out for a few days yet...

    Thumbs up DIY (accurate) option

Kathmandu Floor pump for mountain bikes. Reliably fills up to 140/150 PSI for those who need their rubber really tight.

Has a long shaft so it delivers it's plenty with each stroke (that's what she said) - all in all, for $40 you couldn't do much better. Also fills up inflatable beds, balls, dates etc...

Don't lay down a challenge to the retards. They will happily accept it...
