    Where was the bike kept?
Did they ring (advert etc) or have your phone number somehow?
Was the garage (?) broken into, anywhere else?

Was that all that was stolen?

Bike is normally kept in the house garage, but for one night only it was in my other shed, was locked up with 2 wire ropes. they took part of the wall down after they couldnt get in through the door. I have a feeling they may have been watching it for a little while, Definatly not opportunist.

im so wary as to not advertise i have a bike, i back the van up to the shed and wheel my bike staight in so you cant see me loading it up from the road, i dont "test ride" it down the road, and i certainly dont clean it out the front of the house.its a shame when your afraid to own nice things!........

Same here! even to the point I watch my rear view mirror when I'm getting close to home (specially if I have the 3 bikes on) and if someone looks like they are following me I drive past my house the the roundabout at the bottom of the street (its only a couple hundred meters) to double check they are not checking out where I live! It very rarely happens but worth it to appease my paranoia! LOL!!

Agreed! A crying shame thats for sure! Sad world!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

Heard of some shitbags in ham's even following people home who have motox stickers on their back windows. Fucking low man. Don't even have to see your bike. I've heard of the dodgy blue van as well.

It sounds like the guy with the dodgy blue rotor van also has a white high top van and steals bikes to keep up the drug habbit. Im sure he will get whats coming to him soon! over 4 more bike have been stolen this week alone in and around hamilton even bike shops in the small towns.

Here is some good news we have managed to get back the YZF450 after seeing a guy riding it he stalled it and couldnt start it he clams he brought it off sumbody (Blue van guy maybe) He was riding it buy Queens street in Frankton along the railway lines. Just lucky two mates work near by and saw it.

Good luck to every body else who is trying to get back stolen goods.

I dont see the point in removing stickers if its a van with tints id say 99% of them are used for MX bikes. If they wanted to follow me they can try they are going to have ta have a pretty decent car to keep up.
