    Im back

After a week of lying up in bed I get to be back at work and with KB's.

Managed to almost write off my bike after some crazy lady pulled out and stopped 5m in front of me while I was doing my allocated 60kph. Kinda hurt with 3 broken ribs, broken wrist and shattered knee cap. Still didnt stop me from giving the bitch a good bollocking and making her cry

Still a bit pissed off, but Im back now to do whatever I used to do

    Gah!

Not good. What a stupid cow. Are you getting compensation for your injuries/trauma off her/her insurance for this? Is she getting done with Dangerous Driving? Are you at least getting a new bike on her insurance?
Whatever the answers are to the above, I wish you a speedy recovery; hope you're riding again soon.

Sorry to hear about your accident.
Be carefull with those ribs, 3 months and you are in the clear. That dosent mean they won't be tender for longer though.
I feel for you, the car driver only has a bent car, whilst you have a bent bike and body, sometimes never comming back to 100% . They will forget the accident in years to come, but you will be reminded on a cold morning perhaps for the rest of your life. Good on you for making her cry, they will never understand what they have done to you.

Glad to see that you are not put off by your experience. Go that driver for all you can.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Good work on attempting to at least bounce a little!

Keep us posted, and take it easy while you recover. If you don't drink litres of beer, and gain 20kgs, then you weren't relaxing enough!

Ouch Sniper, that's one of the worst offs I've read about on this site, sorry to hear it. Obviously your protective wear didn't prevent your injuries because of the *impact* of the accident? Spose it would have been like riding into a brick wall!

Hope you recover quickly and 100%.

hey, thought it was quiet round here.. I noticed some threads about rep points, and you were no where to be seen. I thought you must have been sick, not injured!
Hope the ribs heal soon, and you're feelin better..
