If all else fails mate - use heat. The quicker you can heat the nut without it transferring to shaft the better.
Seals are very cheap. You can also use a heat dissipating paste(silica clay) around the surrounding area to protect it all(Available from Strata Welding or Wurth) If u still stuck PM me or txt. Hows the health now -all good mate?

I have seen a bead of weld run around things to loosen them, but you will eff the sprocket obviously.
