think ill add my 2c to the original post.
It is an open forum, everyone gets a say, but some people on here seem to think they get more of say than others, and repeatedly post bullshit and take threads off track. Say your piece, and get over if its not acknowledged I reckon. Let the majority have a decent discusion.

Truth be known the majority of interweb motorcyclists wouldnt know the front end of one from the back, worse still they would profess an opinion on both. That said theres plenty on here that know there stuff.Bit like a circus theres always far more clowns than anything else.

There's a solution when you're hearing the same whinging stuck record bleat every time you say something.

In real life its "get the fuck out of my life you soul-sucking bitch (and btw I shagged your sister)".

In KB it's called the ignore button!

We're all born and we all die, that's the only thing that is the same for everyone, but it is also the circle, and the glory of life.

Without bad to give meaning to good, there'd be no joy in it, no appreciation of warmth without experience of cold for contrast.

The internet would be a vast empty space devoid of life if everything in it was goodness and light, it moves and it grows as does life, by the interaction, the controversy that causes healthy debate, and
gives everyone out there, a chance to say what they think.

People with experiences to share, good and bad, will share, and because they do, the internet enriches all of us, and it grows!

I say, good on you Beyond, you love biking and you feel strongly enough to want to share, and extend that enjoyment, and because you feel this honestly, you will pass on the joy, you will benefit
some, and piss some off, and (apparently) drive some to distraction,

    but it's all good!

It's life, it is how we move the great wheel on, (or in our case, two wheels.. )

A function that I dont use, its real easy not to get caught up someone elses negative thought process. There is another 'couple' that are viewed in the same light, but like Dire Straights once said ''Two men say they're Jesus, one of them must be wrong''.

Should we all be able to give pointers to others and hope that as a result they might get enough from it in order to preserve their skin during future rides?

Are we all intelligent enough to know what is safe for us as an individual and what is not and ride accordingly?

Why do some find it necessary to pull others down and get the boot in when they get online to share something? Is it because they want to look better themselves by putting someone else down?

My understanding is that this site is an open forum open to all members to post and share what they think is pertinent at the time and to try and help others get more enjoyment out of what we all get a lot of fun from.

Maybe I should have been born in another generation but I am passionate about motorcycling and enjoy it immensely. I like to share my experiences in word or video but I don't expect to get treated like shit from some individuals who think it's their moral duty to put others down and make out like they are the Guru of all things good and proper.

I think most of us are mature enough to pick the meat from the bones from what gets posted on this site.... but at times I wonder. There is a lot of pooled wisdom amongst the members and a lot of knowledge and if this is harnessed and shared, then a lot of people can learn from experience and not make the same mistakes that a lot of us have in the past.

I do not profess to be an expert, but I've passed half a century, been riding on and off since 17 years old and done countless hundreds of thousands of K's on bikes. I admit to riding reasonably hard but that's the level I ride at because I function best at that level and enjoy it the most.

I do get pissed off when I post and all the negative tut tut shit starts coming out. I am sure there are people that want to learn a lot of stuff but I know many people that will no longer post because of all the crap that goes down and the mindless shit they have to read through to glean the facts. Many of these people have years of experience and much to pass on.....

    Rant over.
    That wasn't a question

I agree. Maybe your postings would be better contained within a blog? You can control the wanky responses to those

Don't take it to heart..it is only the internet, after all, not real life.
Keep posting your stuff, Beyond, I for one, enjoy it and find it thought provoking.

There are some real tosspots on here though...
