Just back from Beijing, and there are thousands of electric mopeds and scooters over there! Seem to have slip-in batteries they take out and recharge.
You can't hear the fuckers....given the Beijing traffic's attitude to pedestrians - the green light on crossings just means the vehicle is in the wrong if it hits you - when they zoom..hum..buzz past you at 40k and 2 inches, doesn't half give you a start!
