Seriously this thread cannot be for fucking real.
It reminded me of your theme song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVXh4OmvCkc
Woe to You Oh Earth and Sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding
Reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty six.

Jeez Dean! Humping the tank...sheeeeeesh...even I never thought of THAT!
Reminds me of years ago when I was a squash player - one dude turned up to play a tournament and he had a pair of the "latest fashion" squash shorts - also without a fly...he got about the same as you're getting Dean. Maybe you should do what he did - lose the offending garment...He never wore 'em again that I saw...

Kevlar jeans offer better abrasion resistance to protect your skin, beyond that no benefit, so you will get mangled skin rather than skin completely removed.
If you hit the road in kevlar jeans, the denim will tear off and the kevlar will remain but the jeans will be a write off.
Don't think they will protect you like armor.

They wont do shit in a big accident, but they save skin on those low speed drops. Dropped my GN at bout 40, didnt get any skin ripped off, kneecap was a bit sore for a few weeks though. Though they were hallensteins jeans, so a step up protection-wise from the warehouse.
EDIT: and in Deans case, a jeans fly is still much easier to get open (than a race onesy, or armoured pants etc) when you need to 'do' something in a hurry; those times when you pass a really nice lpg tank, or maybe even a deisle tank on a trailer (when you're in the mood for something a bit filthy)

I ride in jeans sometimes but they wont protect you from anything. I have 3 sets of leathers, one set i can wear normal clothes underneath.
Full armor has its caveats comfort cost etc but it is the best protection you can get.
I am not going to bleat on all ATGATT, its your skin, bones and choice.
I've seen and experienced first hand what the road will do to a body, thats enough for me.

Gapeing?
Arse-less chaps might provide more pleasure. They must have some use.
