    GPS power?

Now i have a Tom Tom gps i want to use while on my bike , have been told that you can get a connector with a usb - sae 2 pin connector with an inline fuse in it so it would connect to my battery tender connection and then to the gps unit .

Does anyone know where i could get one of these from ?

I got all I needed with my TomTom. I use a modified car charger connected to my battery, trough a switch. Try Noel Leemings, or Dick Smith. Any body who sells the brand. Supercheap do.

I have a cig lighter plug under my seat that is relayed to my parklight wire as my fighter lights don't use them.
Just plug my GPS into that and run wire beside tank.
Not a tomtom but I'm sure you got a cig charger

I've used a GPS on my bike only twice (Navman, TomTom). I think last time, I didn't bother using the charger, as I was only going to work (less than 20 minutes). However (but!) I have a cigarette lighter socket on a 1-metre cord, that's connected to my Blue Sea accessory fusebox under my seat, which is connected to a relay, which is triggered by ... something... (can't remember).

Just thought someone might want to know...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I just run the lead to the factory installed accessory (lighter) socket.

I've used an inline coaxial plug - much smaller. neater and tidier than a ciggy lighter socket. It's wired to the distribution board I installed under the seat.
    $5.00 from DSE.
