Seriously - make notes on what you're going to say (which I think you did)... and say it out loud... on your own in a room where no-one can hear you.

Make it interesting, inflection in your voice - engage the audience... because the intro killed it.

    The rest I quite enjoyed.

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Exactly right. Know what your going to say, and say what you know. Don't do it word for word though - that just doesn't work, and it's hard work.

Na - That takes a lot of practice to attempt, and even then you need to hit your marks - topic areas to cover, order of presentation and wrap up/call to action at the end of it.

"Having a go" comes across as exactly that - which is what we saw.

    1) Firstly, I love the head wobble right after the skid at the end. Brilliant.

    2) I think you guys are actually quite good a making these things. The framing is good, the tracking shots are set up well. The transitions are excellent. The overall feel is good too. There are a couple of things that let it down a little though: Camera stability. You should consider buying a HEAVY tripod. And the dialogue at the beginning. I think you make good directors/cameramen but you definitely not actors or script writers. Either work on or ditch the dialogue. It definitely takes away from the rest. Having said that, Carver seemed fairly natural on camera in the two talking segments towards the end.

    3) I know you guys seem to cop a lot of flack on KB and I don't really know you from a bar of soap, but with the exception of the beginning I actually enjoyed watching that. Thanks. (It helps that I am trying to figure out how to ride on gravel at the moment - you should consider some instructional videos. Maybe something like MCN on YouTube - if I'm remembering the acronym right.)

    +1

(Doh. The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters. There. That's better.)

hmm, yeh good point, though having a fang beforehand may give you confidence/settle the nerves so a prepared dialogue will come across better

Oh shit yes - within reason it'd help the spontenaity and excitement of it - all engages the audience. Too much would push the presenter into "uber exited" though - beyond professional into bouncy and silly.
