Why should they?

Kids jump off the spans all the time and the only thing that happens to them is they get wet, nobody cares.

Feds up here in Wonka got all angry and dark about kids jumpin off the Alberttown bridge, isn't it wonderful they are trying so hard to us from ourselves.

A stunt rider who rode a motorbike over the Fairfield Bridge arches in Hamilton has been charged with dangerous driving.

Jonathon Bennett, 24, featured in a YouTube video as he rode his 250cc bike over the 70cm wide metal arches.

Hamilton police Sergeant Phil Ruddell told the Waikato Times the footage showed "motor vehicles were driving across the bridge at the time the rider was on the arches and it clearly shows people walking underneath the arches on the footpath".
