New Motorcyle Land Speed Record - 367mph!

Did a quick search and didn't see any threads related to this one yet...

An american outfit - BUBs Racing - has set the motorcycle land speed record at 367.382 mph at Bonneville... 591km/h - that's really really really fast!

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

From the sounds of things they think they can get a hell of a lot more power out of the engine too, so they might be breaking their own record in short order...

Well there are 15 of them standing shoulder to shoulder down the length of it.
I enjoyed reading the knock for knock race between then & the other crew (which eludes me) last year. Glad to see the bar raised again.

There is different classes within different classes from thrust power to direct drive wheel-driven powered, rolling start to stand still start... etc then you have the different class of motorcycle from production, to custom to what ever you would call that rocket...

I beleive burt muroe record still stands in its class as does the britten

However you still gotta have big cahoonas to bet travelling at that speed... :-/
