    Impressive low speed riding

Very impressive low speed riding skills, all the more so given the guys size and the fact that he is on a 300kg motorcycle!

Now that is PROPER motorcycle riding! I'd love to practice on a course like that.

    Yes I do agree.

Because if the practice at get at work and being able to test the skills on a larger bike, I had considered myself to be reasonably good at that sort of stuff.

    Maybe not

Is it only the Japs who seem to specialise in these? There is also a clip somewhere else buried in the kb archives of Japanese police doing similar, including having to stop the bike at certain points of the course.

Very impressive. Looks like a lot of fun as well.
Does anyone organise anything like this in NZ?

That vid blew my mind! I'm going to repost it all over the interwebz right now as it was both new AND exciting!

But in case you miss the sarcasm, I actually watched the first 2 minutes just in the hope that something other than a 'slow race' might occur. Sadly I was disapointed and my momentary hope that you might have posted something entertaining was obliterated.

What did you expect with a thread title like this? bikes going 300kph in a carpark? Im sure you understand the pure skill it takes to balance a heavy motorcycle at pretty much a standstill because if you can acknowledge that the video becomes quite interesting, so I will crawl back into my cave now.....

This one of the tests the motorcycle posties have to do. The guys who ride trials bikes are really good at it and beat everyone else.

these are the sort of things you do at most motorcycle training courses.Back in the day i used to do a basic training riding course. Most of us had big road bikes...I coulda done that (then).I think you will find this is a license test for big bikes in Japan. We used to do "slow races" too.The most impressive thing for me is he knows exactly where to go...I dont think CBX were quite 300 kg,maybe 300 kg with a small jap rider!

Ive seen a rider on a gsx1400 do a 5 second standstill not moving at all purely balancing. And a 1400 is like 220kg? The slowest rider game isnt like the basic handling test for the new riders because you have to do atleast 1 second standstills to win.
