Its bloody hard to know where you are in an all in race, if you get some clear track you are usually in the front of the intermediates, and if you don't get lapped by some nutbar on the limiter you've done allright. First round was a split start, much better i recon. Pretty ruthless in the first corner and whole first lap with the experts. Good character building stuff though.
You starting in 2nd gear CRF119?

2nd gear is the go on the 450, you gotta get a good start, as you have just found out, its half the battle. Looked into making some starting gates last year when i had a track, a random starting sequence machine would be the go, you can buy the complete setup from the states but its a bit spendy. Waikato champs on sunday, 2nd race?? Cambridge is awesome eh.

Yeah the old dude with the cromey red helmet #50 go's good allright, he's winning the 40+ vets class, seen him racing elsewhere in the super vets 50+, he always gets good starts, that bike of his is nearly factory KTM from what ive been told, good on him!! Just found out there was only 2 rounds raced on Sunday so I'm in, stoked.

Youir thinking of Gaundenz Gisler, owner of Gisler Moto Tech in Taukau, he is a swiss guy that used to race 500 gp's, still very fast, unusual style but quick, he has a YZ250 and also a CRF450 and some old school gear
