Those wheels let the whole bike down IMHO. Noisy looking pipes!

They seem to have a good 'street cred' value.

I think the wheels are sleek and sort of do suit the bike.

No so sure about the black pipes.

You're not kidding.... Too loud to be honest. Not a nice tone really either. Maybe it sounds better when you're on the bike. But that's an easy fix.

I usually like loud pipes. But heard a rocket 3 the other day that just sounded obnoxious. All noise but nothing nice about it.

Rode behind a boulevard with performance pipes the other week. Have to admit it had a nice note too. Couple of victorys on the ride too but wasn't riding near them so can't really comment on their sound.

I spied that one outside Bunnings a week or so ago - It's certainly a good looking beast, and yes very loud!

The fit and finish, dare I say it, appears to be above Harley efforts - I may be wrong as I have no idea how they survive long term.

A very good alternative to the almost 'common' appearance of the HD.

Another thing - the factory custom HD's (SE ones?) in my opinion look a bit too "showy" - absolutely superb paint etc and f-loads of chrome, but a bit OTT for me. The victories are clean.

One would probably look really good in that new shed of yours .....

Yeah that is a nice one. A guy bought it 2nd hand up here and rode it back to Chch.
Thats an 08, the dealer up here has an 09 with the same shotgun pipes but Ness fly bars instead of stock (they come on 2 inch risers and most of us find them to be a better fit) and the wheels are a mix of black a chrome, sort of a blade type effect, which looks a lot better than the 08 stock ones.

The 8-ball is the entry level Victory and you can pick up either a Vegas 8 ball (like you saw) or a Kingpin 8-ball for aound 24 - 25K brand new.

Heeeeaps of fun to ride and the 5-speed delivers all the power you want right when you want it

Yes I was the one that noticed when I pulled up...

You and Chris took off up front I was at the rear of the group waiting for them to go before I said bugger it... but wasn't that far behind... I have been surprised how well it handles through the twisties a few times...
