a few weeks back i blew a fork seal, no major just another job to do.
striped them down did the seals and decided to change the fork oil to 5w from 7.5w, wich the book says you can do with no issue, but we didnt have a messurement for the centre tube, so got hold of someone and filled it up accordingly, now the forks are real sensitive espically on tree roots and sharp holes, so adjusted the clickers etc and checked how close i was getting to the stops, 80mm to go but i cant seem to get them down that far even with the clickers right on soft, and theres a slight bit of oil arround the top nut and bleeder, could the centre tubes be over full and causing me problems? and can i lessn the ammount of oil in the tubes to soften the ride up?
it was bad enough to make my arm go numb..... not cool feeling.
the forks are marazocchi on the husky, i know its not the norm but maybe danger or robert taylor may have an insight,
