This racing Yamaha is of historic value with an exceptional racing history. This is the works Yamaha XTZ 850 R that won the Dakar 1996 with the official Yamaha rider Eddie Orioli.
This bike was prepared in 1995 by the racing services of Yamaha Motor France with all factory parts developed in Japan for the Dakar 1996.
Two bikes were specifically prepared for this event and entrusted to the official riders Stephane Peterhansel from France and the Italian Eddie Orioli.
Orioli won this race in the general ranking.
This bike hasn’t been run since and was conserved by Yamaha Motor France.
We are proud to present the only works bike currently available on the market that had won the hardest of all competitions worldwide.
The bike is complete and in original condition as upon its finish in Dakar in January 1996. The roadbook shows as last entry the final stage with arrival in Dakar.

This extraordinary bike is available in France (Paris). The starting work and inspection will be undertaken by the racing service of Yamaha Motor France and a lot of spares will be furnished.
