    Aprilia models in NZ?

What models of Aprilia are readily available in NZ? I see lotsa Milles and lotsa 250's but not a lot in between. Any Aprilia gurus out there?

This might help ya... http://www.mcdownunder.co.nz/images/...apricelist.pdf (its a bit out of date tho)

Anything specific you want? I presume you mean only current models? ie, there was the Futura...

RSV4 is the sportsbike, 1L, then tuono the naked sportsbike (plastic tank makes gripping with knees hard)

Mid range (750cc) has the Shiver (Mr Hitcher loves it) and the Dorsoduro (Mr Big Dave loves that one). Mana is also in there (850cc) but know nothing about it.

Bit smaller again, you have the SXV550 which is a crazy motard basically.

Just visit Motomart. Best place to get your Italian fix I'm told.

When I stopped in there not long ago, they were packed with Aprilia, Moto Morini, Ducati....though I don't think I saw any Moto Guzzi.

There are no Shivers available apart from one, maybe two 2008 models that are the remnants of Motorcycling Downunder losing the Aprilia/Guzzi distributorship.

At the moment I wouldn't recommend buying a new Aprilia until your friendly neighbourhood dealer can give you a categorical assurance that the factory warranty will be honoured in a timely manner, just like every other new bike dealer in New Zealand can for their range of bikes.

due to shape of tank its not hard to grip it, since it has the cut outs in the tank and fits legs easy enough to grip tank.
i have more issues that the tank is so narrow, compared to the gixxer. takes a bit to get use to it

Really? I was in there a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty hard to tell that they were an Aprilia dealer at all.

Probably 3x Tuono's and the RSV4 stuck in a corner, up on a box with a table cloth over it (the box-not the bike).

Same with the Guzzi's - seems like dealers are staying away Ap/MG until they can get their shit sorted out

(the filthy I can do now...the rich might have to wait a bit...

You can't blame them for that. It's the poor old dealer that cops it in the neck from irate customers.

One wonders how long it will take for the supply line shit to get sorted. It's almost exactly three months to run until my D Day and I'm not holding my breath.
