Has Dan been approaching potential sponsors ? I think its pretty rare that a rider gets offered sponsorship.

Was there an obvious speed difference on the straights ? I thought Ash, Dan's and my bikes were all pretty even, given that I was chasing them some of the time.

Funnily enough your 'wee fan club' were all commenting on how your bike seemed under powered down the straights compared to Ash and Dan's....

Slipstreaming makes a difference and can give the impression of better speed down the straights. I was able to tuck in behind several of the SV's and make gains on them. Geoff Booth is the only one I have not been able to stick with, but I believe his bike is as hot as is allowed under the pro twin rules. Mods I could still do are full exhaust system and dialling in the cams.
