Haha. Auckland sucks.
"Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death" - Hunter S. Thompson
5-6 cars!
All driving with due care and attention, not on their mobile phones and keeping a safe distance.............
the only thing that suprises me is that it doesnt happen more often. I travel out that way often and see some of the stupidest driving behaviour on that particular stretch of motorway...... its particularly bad heading back into Auckland when, the traffic tends to build up and people just follow each other waaaayyyy to closely, chopping and changing lanes without any warning..... its like a bloody competition to see who can squeeze into the smallest gap. Its madness out there.
Lets make it illegal to drive on any Auckland motorway, the annual death toll would drop immediately...![]()

When life throws you a curve ... Lean into it ...
At around 3pm the Southern was banking up just past the Manukau interchange.
Drove past a van on the inside lane that was facing the wrong way and a trailer jammed into the median barrier.
The greatest pleasure of my recent life has been speed on the road. . . . I lose detail at even moderate speed but gain comprehension. . . . I could write for hours on the lustfulness of moving swiftly.

Just another fucking Aucklander on the road. You know when you're nearing Auckland when the Aucklanders are hogging the passing lanes on the Waikato Expressway or SH2, in a complete daze.
I'd be keen on mass transit if it was actually worth taking....have a look at this.
Oh how I miss Auckland traffic.....
NOT!!!!!!!
