    Arrow I'd be keen.

If it was local and while I was not working. I could even bring some tools along and see what happens...
However, if its in another area of the counrty then the chances are very slim.
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.

great idea BJ --I wats thinking it was about time I did another one of those spanner evenings.
    another basic level one methinks.
Kerry at Motorhause was as keen as mustard to provide the venue.
The last one I did had 20 or so KBers turn up.
I'd be happy to talk to him again.

I think the idea is a great one, and I would definitely come along to learn if I was free.

Two things to do before I come tho... Get a learners (booked for 7 May... can't wait) and get a bike...

If one was organised prior to your learners, it wouldnt harm to come along anyway.

I wish I knew then what I know now.
basically I am riding on a very dangerous chain which was spotted by fluke of a Motomail guy. I could have thrown myself into the gravel very quickly if I didnt get it sorted.

thanx for bumping this MM, was gonna do it myself now the fun of the Rally is over..
The idea was put out there, but no time/date/location has been set yet. Now that there's a bit more time in order, I/we can start putting things together. Might have a few good project bikes for this too.
Keep an eye on this thread, and I'll ramp it up and see where this goes

OK I've subscribed to this thread as I'm dead keen on the idea.

Motohaus sounds great, if Kerry agrees. Is there some kind of fee involved?? - as something to Kerry as thanks for his time. He is running a business you know and a pretty busy business so we will be an interruption. My 2cents only not representative of any one else.

I'll be keen to change my brake pads and perhaps bleed and refill the rear brake cylinder and give my bike a good post bin going over.......

I have the usual assortment of a few screwdrivers/spanners and a few bobs and bits. Can also bring a can of chain lube and some kerosene for everyone to use. That's bout all I got..... and bout all I can probably fit in me backpack

    Great Idea BJ :

Next saturday good for anyone especially the organisers?? I can't do the Sunday

Or how bout an after hours event?? Will be easier for Kerry as his business hours wont be affected.....just thinking aloud

    Definitely Keen

Yes please - haven't got a clue about the mechanical stuff on my bike and constantly wonder whether there's something I should be checking besides the oil level.

If there's any choice I'd prefer weekends....
