On the bright side; there are no rego fees for a kitchen, you don't have to pump up the tyres, fill it with petrol, wax the paint or degrease its underpinnings.
Conversely I don't recall my missus ever cooking me eggs on her bike.
I know what you're saying though; the last two houses I owned got new kitchens and they were not cheap operations but man, they're so good to work in when they're finished.
Just stay focussed; then you can cook up hell feeds in your new kitchen and go for a ride after scoffing them. Best of both worlds.
I suppose so. I see this house (like the last two) as a stepping-stone to the lifestyle block (wife doesn't see it that way - give me time) so a high spec kitchen and bathroom will be a worthwhile expense. Just put another bedroom on this one and built a 7x6 garage. Good location with nice views etc (http://www.flickr.com/photos/brianmolyneux/page2/). Should go ok.
Anyway, I'll see if I can wangle another bike during the next sale and puchase.
Wife: "Sell the Harely, we need the money"
Husband: "OK, I'll put it on Trademe....(at a ridiculous price so it'll never sell, muhahahahaaaaa)"
My daughter telling me like it is:"There is an old man in your face daddy!"
Yeah, good questions. It's incredible how many people leap into the hot cam market but don't up the compression ratio.
Who wants a six-pot caliper??
