Dropping a tooth on the front might help, it doesn't hit redline in 6th atm..
How many RPM are you doing at 100? That's geared longer than normal. Usually you will be lucky to exceed a real 165k on a bandit. Normal for a 40hp naked bike.

I have got all my T20 bits in one spot now, getting keen on a pre72 racer to go with the Pre 89 TZR and Pre 82 LC

It's an interesting thing the 250cc market, in the late 80s and early 90s 250cc bikes were quite fun (Only talking four strokes here...we all know the 2t win) with CBR250R/RR and ZXR250a/c, the later FZR250RR and the GSXR250R, they all made 45hp or so, six gears, light as anything, hadled brilliant and most could do just over a real 200kp/h. Now....the 250cc bikes are beige, boring, don't do any good, weight more, have less technology, make less power and torque and use just as much petrol! It's a shame, I would love to see what a newer 250cc CBR250RR/ZXR would be capable of with all these potential years of development.
Stupid boring shitty new 250cc bikes....

Aye...one of the guys that works here with me has a mate that owns two of them, and I think one of them is my old race bike.

I'd love to have it back.

One of the few highly regarded 250cc bikes I haven't had my grubby paws on for half a day

I'll have to check but it is a tooth or two up at the sprocket

    Wink Kawasaki Ninja 2008 EX250R - J

I took it for a test run and hit 100.

Purchased the bike and then hit 150 comfortably. It had onloy just been run in however and had done only 1900 kms. So the compression was really good etc etc.

I hard nothing but bad things about this bike but I Really Like it.

I can get my vtr 250 to 140 no trouble.... and then i freak a bit
tried to push it harder an the track a few weeks back but i think the fastest i could get it was about 145 down the back straight, i reckon there is more there but jees the wind force is a little overwhelming. Next week i'll push it a bit harder

You've been riding your first road bike for two days, and you can already report that?

You're gonna fit in here real well...
