Its a 2006 gpx engine btw. Reading some of the top speeds here I guess my 250 is not that bad!

    160... did not realise

I was in a group ride and told if I fell behind around corners (which I'm still not that keen on hooning around) to catch up on the straights. And I was always going WOT, don't know how much faster she'll go. But definitely got to 160... still doing corners slow though

Make sure you don't get caught, (easier said than done) but if you do get busted going 160 ish then your going twice the legal limit so it's probably almost certain that your going to lose your license. but i'm sure you know that anyway, and i have sped too so i'm not keen on being a hypocrite.

but remember at those speeds it is a lot harder to react to certain things that may happen

If you're going to get done for that kind of speed then you might as well not stop if you know you can get away with it.

I personally haven't managed to get the bike over 130 and that requires somewhat of a downwards slope ...

The guys you are riding with are obviously fuckin idiot cunts and riding like that will kill you.

Ride your own ride man, don't play catch up for anyone, seriously, it's your life here.

I'm comfortable going fast on straights... I don't feel unsafe. I told them I was gonna ride at my own pace which is why I was going slow around corners. Surely you don't think 160 on a straight kills you... maybe if you come off... but I don't think there is that high a chance of that happening on a straight when it's you and the road and no other traffic. And your eyes are everywhere as usual checking for any slight movement from animals and road surface...

"Speed Kills"... the brainwashing is working
