Dont you mean a few mins??
Took old hornet to off the clock a few times. sometimes though would only get indicated 160 and thats it, other times would wind right over. even managed to get red line in 6th gear one night. was to much effort doing so so only did a couple of times. but i didnt come up against any other 4 stroke 250 that out ran that bike, not even zxr or cbrr weird.
THe NC30 on the other hand wound off the clock no porblems at all.

LOL not this bloody fight again....
You either had one hyper little hornet with a demon in it, or the ZXR's & CBR's you took on were SICK...like running on 3 cylinders sick..that or dragging a dead bull behind them....
But we have been here for a while before haven't we NOMIS....![]()
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.
[QUOTE=Brett;1129443541]sure have, and yes i had a quick lil hornet. but its was a angel not a demon.
:-) fair few mods on that hornet. didnt do much for power but enough anyway. and only raced one zxr but maybe 3 cbr's 2 where same friend. wasnt fast at all just good for what it was.

You would have to do a lot of work to get the horny hornets to the same power as the CBR250RRRRRRRRRRRR or a zxr, then it is still naked and shaped like a brick. The hornets are a bloody cool 250 and great fun, but, it would have to be a sick zxr/cbr to be beaten by one in a straight line.Keep it realistic
think there a few pics still on profile, i aint been on here in months and months. see people still love telling other people they no more about each others bikes.. and yes mate dylan with the cbr also rode mine and actually upgraded from his hornet to it. then onto a mc22.
and yes they where faster than his old hornet. but annnyywaayys you guys would no more about my bike than me the owner. cool. my hornet hardly resembled a hornet either. to be honest was a waste of $$ on my part. but i was the one stuck riding it for so long.

Removing parts that add to the aerodynamics of a bike generally do make it go faster, yes.
I'm surprised more people aren't strapping bits of gib to their bikes, following that astounding logic.
Your idiocy is breathtaking. The tags for this thread aren't lying, especially the first. Let's hear some more about this bike with stunted aerodynamics that has the magical power to blow minds.
