Needless to say it didn't like me very much for doing that.
Thats what the speedo said....I would put $100 note on it that your true speed was 135-140kph ! !

I didn't know the speedos were that optimistic on those bikes.

A mate of mine wasn't happy when the gauge cluster his very low mileage GT250R decided to give up the ghost, and a new one cost him around $800, and the fact that it can't keep up with my 21 year old Honda which has been thrashed to death by now by numerous wannabe Rossis.

    Haha

The only problem the testing officer had when I sat my full when we got back...
"Was there any reason you sat between 85-90 in the 100 zone?"

No no... I sat on 95-100

    Crack up
    holding the line...

207 woohoo, didn't see the speedo but the max speed number confirmed it! Yes there was a bit of a downhill involved but nothing really massive! Got to 180 relatively quickly (for me at least) then slammed into 6th, tucked the head right into screen stayed there for about 10 secs and let go. Was awesome to have a little 250 take you over 200!

Dunno if bandits been said already but I've had it off the clock (180+) although I'd be happy if realistically that was 160 =p
Dropping a tooth on the front might help, it doesn't hit redline in 6th atm..

My 1971 Suzuki GT250R showed over 175 on the speedo, but the official speed through the flying 1/4 was 159 km/h.
    Time to ride
