Really... And in your vast experience you'd know better, huh...?

Come back and talk to me when you've had over 15 years worth of working on engines, fabricating one-off custom parts, modifying suspension, brakes, frames and all forms of electrical componenets, and working on more than a few of New Zealand's best performance vehicles...
    1990 CBR250RR - fully rebuilt and awesome!
    1999 CBR900RR - a work in progress...

Yup, and it doesn't surprise me that they talk about the capabilities of the CBR250 engine at the end of that thread. If we had the facilities to set official records here in NZ, I'd definitely be keen.

Settle, down this ain't a pissing contest or anything. The tone of a message in a forum is often mis-read. I was merely stating what I found. I don't recall saying anything negative about your abilities, or implied you were a liar etc. simply stated perhaps try and make it official. and that I'm sceptical of GPS accuracy in general. A gps units accuracy can be quite a variable thing. Older units were horrible compared to modern SirfIII units etc.

Cool, I'd love to see it fly one day.
I'd like to see more of the ole kiwiland feature in record braking ala Worlds Fastest Indian, the Britten etc.

    An NC30 has a top speed of around 130mph, and thats a 400cc V4 with around 60HP.

So unless you can get a MC22 to put out that kind of HP, I would doubt the 130mph top speed on your bike.
I never get lost. I go on adventures

Weight won't change the top speed that much.

Why not? Weight will always affect acceleration.
