    Oh you pussy
Know where your coming from though. My second road bike was a RG150 that I had the great fortune of getting a mental mechanic to do a wonder on. Bayride ended up stealing the settings from it for their race-bike. Gave me a rather impressive dyno sheet for my troubles (which disappeared with a ex-girlfriend, but thats another story).

However my gearing was still stock so the little buzz-bomb ran out of go just before 200.

But my fuel economy was horrible. I think I got about 6km/l!!!!! It also didn't help matters when it self-destructed after about 10,000km after.

But make it uneconomical and have some fun. You only live once. I don't regret what I did to that RG.

I'm laughing too. My bike can keep up with an F15 jet. Honest. As long as the jet doesn't exceed 280km/h.

Keeping up with an 1198 and a CB1000R on a 250. That's brilliant. No really, it is.

    You're right.

It sounds more like a bunch of 250 owners having a wanking contest.

You're full of shit. Your MC19 is slow and shit.
How have you magically tuned it and found more power?
Dyno runs GPS on vid or you're full of shit.

aaaaand Bullshit. prove it. throw up the vid for a start.

keep up with an 1198? and a CBR? well sure, lets assume you were all doing the speed limit - then of course, the cbr will do 100km/hr. But beyond that, you are simply full of shit if you think your cbr250 would keep up with 180+hp bikes.

Drunkenmistake's cbr 250 put out 38.8 HP at the rear wheel on a dyno. cant say I have seen a cbr250 put out more than that, and have the print out from the dyno to prove it. and I rode that thing, the needle got near to 175/180, true speed closer to 155-165
heres a linky to his print out

ive had the mc22 1992 off the clock (unrestricted) (220kph aparently) (also down a hill)
although for the age of the bike i suspect the speedo is off by about 10kph
aaand, the speedo reads off the front sprocket so i doubt the speedo on any mc22 is reading the actual speed
therefore, id say the fastest ive had it is 180~190kph.

    Edit:
    and also b4 anyone asks
bike is running on mc17 headers with screaming demon exhaust,
standard sprockets, and a good old service,
so pretty much standard, no jets been fucked with or anything
would love to get it dyno'd to see how much HP its putting out

38hp on an optimistic dyno. Usually you'll see 34-36, dyno dependant.

You cunts are fuckin gay. With your disc brakes and your wet clutches.

I got a 1950 Douglas 350cc opposed twin up to 82mph down the back straight of pukekohe. With torsion bar rear end and leading link front, with a 19inch front wheel, that shit is way more exciting than revving the small tits off a modern 250.

Then got the 1955 Norton up to around 130mph, which is modern by comparo, with it's wideline featherbed frame and 18 inch wheels.

Next on the build list is a 1920 500cc 2 stroke Scott. Which will be rigid rear end and girder fork front. HAHAHA

    PUSSIES HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

awesome! that puts it on the lams list of allowed 250s coming up :P
means ill still be able to sell it when im done restoring it to its "as new" condition haha, its been through rough times,
already getting a set of forgies made up for the rebuild, and a wayyyyy better radiator,
wont change anything power wise, but will be able to ride the nuts off it like a 2 smoker
