I used VIR and I found them very good. Comes out with money owing, anybody registered interest in the car / bike. Cost about $25.00

It is worth the $25.00. You wouldn't want to purchase a bike and realise that the seller didn't actually own it, but the finance company. The VIR report (this is the first time I have used it) also shows :

-stolen or of interest to the police
    -securities registered
    -WOF and REGO due dates
    -Engine size
    -last odometer reading
    -registered owner
    -how many owners

good luck enjoy your new bike!
