1500 is what the manual says... I've got mine there and it runs sweet as.
I adjusted mine to 1750 just below 2000rpm.. and it is all good. I think it is smoother then it was before.![]()
after trying a few different settings i've finally got it in the right spot. it now idles around 1500 rpm and i got stuck in the traffic today and had no problem with the bike stalling or anything so that's great... thanks a lot for the help u guys... especially bugjuice and alarumba u guys rock![]()

Wow, it was almost a year ago that this thread was started!
I will have a looksey on my 600 tomorrow and see where it goes for sure. Can't say I have ever been tempted to unwind it though.
Adjusted it for the first time in two years (since I bought the bike) for a rider training course last week.
