    Tui in The Tron

For the first time in 28.63 gazillion years, Tui have been visiting the Tron this spring. One in my gully woke me with its song this morning.

If you peer really closely at the attached pic, you can see him/her - a little blurry but there ya go. I think it's pretty cool.

    That's BRILLIANT!

My uncle has been working for years to bring Tui back to the Tron - trying to get areas of bush to all join up into a tui highway so they can move around and always find shelter and something to eat.

Dear old Uncle has had poor health in recent years - it's wonderful to see his dream come true.

    Thanks for sharing, slofox!

They seem common enough in Huntly to be in residential areas,I hear them often enough at home, and more often in parks.

I got one of the noisey buggers in the tree just outside right now.

Seems no logical reason why they should be as common as stupidty in Dorkland and rare in the Tron.

Speaking of which, they claim to be producing a Lager soon.

The Tui population (birds) has really taken off in the past couple of years. I'm hoping it's because possum numbers have dropped radically. We don't get possums around our house at night like we used to, and the two events seem to have gone hand in hand.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
