    Looking for this old bike

I'm looking for this old chopper or even just any parts that may survive.
Built in the early 1980's using a Suzuki GS1000 engine at a time when I didn't really shine to choppers this one stood out.
I'm a big fan of the Suzuki GS range and would like to find it to restore.
It spent a fair bit of its life in the hawkes bay and was known as the 'Warlord'
I'll buy anyone who can put me onto it some refreshments too, either for their thirst or their bikes thirst.

    cheers

Theres a blast form the past.

Haven,t heard of that bike for bloody ages.

I'm pretty sure thats the bike Lance owned, he was a friend of my ex's brother.

He worked at Whakatu Freezing Works until it went bust.

If it is the same bike he still had it around 1984-85.

Haven't seen him for donkeys years, He got married had a child and I believe he moved to Oz in the late 80s.

Dont know what happened to the bike.

    I'll ask around for ya.

    Cheers

Asked around... a few remember this bike.

No one I asked seems to know what happened to Lance Kelly or this bike after he moved from Clive.

Was a real head turner in it's day.

I seem to remember it would wheel spin in third if you opened the throttle too quick.

Pah! Don't need a thou to do that. My hot CB500/4 caught me out a few times...
On second thoughts, maybe it was the crap road tyres of the day?

Great story re. finding that old gem.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Yeah maybe it was the crap tyre.

I had a CB550/4 for a while and it never would do that.

Got a CB650/4 Custom in the shed at the moment and it definately wont wheel spin in third either.
