I like it! Even to look at nice lines I must say with the V twin, better weight spread, more torgue, good grip off the corners, as said before Aprilia certainly know how to make a fast bike and a put together good race team. I have high hopes for Josh and I like the bike, these two will make a good team!

personally, i think its a shame that josh'es career has come to this, going from the only guy who could push the best rider ever out of europe, haveing an unasailable lead in the championship only to get injured and loose it, to then be swamped by the next generation of up and coming mx2 riders and now wants to be the first to win a gp on a v-twin.
There is absolutely no shame in that buddy. We all know the story. Who knows? he may smoke em on the v twin? if anyone could do it a kiwi can.

the aprillia has always been fast, twins will do that, but it is the extra weight in teh corners and extra rotaiting mass that has screwed it up for mx, if Josh can win on it he will be the man for sure,
I think it looks sick. Would love to ride an enduro model :P!
Exhausts do look like little chodes but oh well, rest of it looks mint.

Coppins tests Aprilia in Valence, France.
Fresh off his first podium achieved at Round 1 of the Italian championships last week, Josh Coppins, looked set to test his speed against a star studded field at the Valence MX international held in France over the weekend.
Coppins posted 12th fastest time in the morning qualification session and looked confident going into Moto 1. He grabbed a reasonable start, but then got stuck behind , Mike Alessi, and could not find an opening to get past the American. Eventually he made his move but then made a mistake as he was working his way through the field and had to settle for 9th spot.
Requesting some suspension changes for the second moto, Coppins was happy with the settings chosen, but had an issue with the clutch at the start of the moto. He worked his way up to 11th but then hit a false neutral and went down. Re starting at the back of the pack he fought through to 11th.
A technical problem with the clutch in the Super Final saw a disappointed Coppins pushed to the side line.
“We have been testing some new settings and parts and obviously there are still some issues which we need to have ironed out. I am really happy with the performance of my bike and am confident I have what I need to run up top. Starts will be very important this year with so many fast guys, so this is an area we are working on at the moment. I am looking forward to doing some more testing this week in Italy and then I head to round 2 of the Italian championships next weekend.” commented Coppins.

Issues, Issues, Issues?? 13th ain't that good? Cairoli, Ramon, Philippaerts etc in the top 6 all day.
I was hoping he'd be a bit closer to these guys ( I would imagine he would too) but new bike new team etc
He seems very positive though. I hope they get the bike sorted!

I don't think anyone's holding their breath for a championship winning season. The bike is a piece of shit. Don't get me wrong i like the aprilia but it hasn't done very well yet and i guess they're more looking to develop it further and hoping to get "better" results. Coppins will be invaluable in developing the bike with his experience and i think that's the challenge he went into the season with his mind set on. He said in one of these blurbs just after he signed with Aprilia that he was hoping to get 1 race win... that will be an awesome achievement and i can't wait to watch him do it...
Got my money on the Kato with the buck toothed sicilian in the saddle... Max nagl has a score to settle too. and Rui Goncalves was rocking it in MX2 last year.... Gonna be an orange takeover wooohooo
