My 140/70's rear tyre for my 250cc , cost under $100. Which is awesome.
Got 12,000 kms out of them, until they failed the next warrent with 0mm. I bitched but they still failed it.

My front bridgestone is almost double the cost of the kenda at the back. Back tyres are supposed to cost way more.
How good are they though? in terms of ridabilty and wet weather preformance, cant say I'd be keen to try them the way I ride

    Arrow Dunno aye.

The dunlop 4wd tyres on my truck are bloody awesome. My bike has Bridgestone tyres and they are even better on my bike. However there are heaps of great tyres out there that will rpobably do just as good a job.

Everyone here seems to love the Sport Demons...except me. I found that they didn't hold heat too well on my CBR250. I also found the handling rubbish with them on, but it had an oversize (140) rear, so I can't really make any valid claims against them from that stand point.

I can vouch for Bridgeys though. When I changed to Bridgestone BT45s, the bike was transformed. Although they're not marketed as a pure sports tyre, they had decent enough grip to drag the pegs in a big way. I found the feel from the front improved HEAPS, too. Always knew exactly how much you had left...which is more important than outright grip to me.

The Bridgestones were way cheaper too

Ridability is very good. I admit they are not as good as more expensive tyres in the rain.

A couple of times before, I have taken off at a give way in rain. While being slightly freaked out by the time taken for the back tyre to grip properly. Other than that I am happy. - That's why while I have my 250cc , I will continue to invest as little as I need to into it.
