Fucking cyclists, shoot the lot of em, selfish pricks wanna use a road they don't pay for, lean on yar car at the lights (that's if they stop for the red jobs) and rarely (if ever) use their freakin mirrors!!! Mostly coz they don't have any, grrr.

Register the bikes, make em pay ACC levies and pass a basic road user course before letting 'em loose on the roads I say.

I actually agree with this. Any bike that is likely to use the road in the same manner that the rest of traffic is should have to abide by the same laws. Maybe even just for competion cycling.

I would suggest that at the very least cyclists should have to have a rear view mirror. It didn't look to be too hard to make helmets compulsory, so why not mirrors? I can't think of any other road user that doesn't need one to be road legal. (There may be a few vintage exemptions etc...dunno.)

Are there any laws/regulations preventing toddlers from using the road providing they have a helmet? Is there a cut-off age? Jeez, they have enough accidents in driveways........

It is very likely that many cyclists do obey the rules, but they'd be older and more experienced. These people tend to ride bigger, more expensive machines right? So, all things being equal they should be handed the same ACC levies as older, more experienced motorcycle riders on bigger, more expensive machines.

Sorry if that's too simple.
