Why don't you buy our 2009 X-Bones off me for $26K? I'll fly you here to Welly AND pay for your return ferry trip if you do!!!

    Pete
Holy shit... That's a good price. There's an '09 X-bones in RT which they've put a few accessories on. Was offered it for $30k (about $3,500 under the ticket price).

I'm listing my bikes on TM tonight so hoping to have some cash soon. As the local '07 is for sale 'on behalf' they weren't keen on a trade in. Fair enough.

Rosie. I've done about 2,000k on the Triumph. It's nice enough. Handsome bike really but it's just, erm, 'cruiser-lite' if you know what I mean.

Erm, not quite, just removing extraneous material and tidying up.

I think they call it 'housework' or something.

All good now though but I do empathise.

Oh yes. Love the smell at Rolling Thunder. It's the smell of a pissed-off wife and a few broken promises...

Hoping to put a deal together with Pete at Wellington so that X-Bones might yet come my way. If not, I'll track down another Springer. The hunt is half the fun.
