Nice. What's the plan with the fish tails?

I understand the appropriateness and look and all, but the world is full of gutters - i'd be worried about the crunching sound of destroying them absent mindedly?

The fish-tails are a very cool addition on that bike - they even have a nice flame shaped heat shield over them. Probably very loud! They would be fairly easy to shorted if desired.
I'll bet there are already a few mods planned -he may as well as I suspect he'll be living in the new garage for at least a week or so ....

Kitchens are over rated - it will be BBQ season soon

As a side note I like some of the finishes HD are using on their new models - there is a FB low in there - all blacked out in satin and the mufflers are done in a quite striking satin silver (satin chrome?). Not many changes in models but they appear to have upped the quality of finish for 2010.

    Thanks for the comments.

There are a few bits on the bike that I don't think 'fit'. The flame heat shield and silly, tiny pointy mirrors don't go with the 'old' look I like so much. The tank console also has some flame feature to it I don't want. Also, going to powder coat the hubs and rims and go with stainless spokes, take off the passenger seat and sissy bar and get some throw-over bags.

    :-)

Awesome. Must admit I snuck into RT the other day hoping to get a sneaky peek but they must have had it out the back for you

Here are a couple. It's a work in progress. Had the mufflers apart today and changed the internals. Trying to keep the flow but reduce the noise a bit. bought a metre length of perforated tube and wrapped it with stainless wool. Then secured it. It worked (it is a 'bit' quieter) but not to the extent I'd hoped. Still sounds bloody nice though.
