What are your 'Get Through' plans?

All this tsunami / quake stuff in the news has reminded me that I need to get my arse in gear and get my 'get through' stuff together (esp. now we've a wee baby).

Any of you lot bothered? What did you do?

I plan to topple the New Order.

After I have feasted of course.

And paint over all the H's on local signs.

I located a very large chilly bin.

Where I live I'm in no danger from a Tsunami, but the earthquake would be a worry. I have a large tank full of tropical fish - hence the chilly bin to keep the fish warm if their tank cracks!

Before Y2K I bought 10 acres of bush land in the far north, built a dwelling that's independent of the national electricity grid and has its own water supply. I still own it. It gets better each year.

Dunno how much use it would be in case of a major earthquake though - I would have to get there first.

No, but I would happily drink their water! Their swimming water is much better quality than my drinking water!

Im not sure if your telling us about it or inviting us all to stay if need be.Is it a large dwelling with sky TV and a view.I only ask because satelite TV would still work or am I wrong.I hope not to need to impose but booking ahead is always advised.

Send me your former address before you go - I'd like to see what you leave behind in your panic....
