Glad you are ok Thani. My Duc (sob didn't appear to have a lot more damage than your Ginny but the insurance co said no good. Oh well.

While in hospital I mentioned casually to the surgeons that my right thumb wasn't bending backward anymore. It was a very minor complaint but they got on the job enthusiastically and here I am with a hand in plaster for 6 weeks. Broken tendon in thumb.

Worth fixing. If you don't have opposable thumbs you fall off the evolutionary tree. 'Sfact, ask Charles Darwin.

Just goes to show that life is one big learning curve, and sometimes you can fall off.

Trust Didjit to be all concerned about digits....
Bike is in the process of being fixed up, its not looking too bad so far.

Been to the Drs. Thumb and wrist both ok, minor injuries, so thats good. For my first accident I was fairly lucky. Getting some very pretty bruises on my legs though. So at least I have something to show off lol.

Three of the five have been fixed now - the other two are just awaiting the proper electrical connectors etc which we didn't have.

She should be back on the roads menacing those pussy R1s soon though.

Good on all of you guys who have jumped in to help. That's really great. Wish I could do something useful. I know - I'll spread some bling. :-) It's a hard job but someone's got to do it.

You hit the painted centre line right? Or was there a painted line on the inside of the corner?

Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Was just a lapse of concentration. A mistake that went bad. Luckily not as bad as it could have been, so I'm thankful for that.

Havent taken the splint off my thumb yet, still hurts when I try to do anything with it, so I'll leave it on for a bit longer. Wrist isnt too bad, but with my job being typing, its bound to be sore by the time I get to go home. Will wear the wrist brace for a while to come yet I think.
