Selling my Bandit - first getting it up to scratch?

    Hi all,
Due to me not being able to drive or ride (no I haven't been naughty) I have to sell my bike :-(

It is a good bike, a real workhorse. And I'm going to be sad putting it on the market.
But, there are a few things that need to be done to it. I need to get some new mirrors, bar ends and front indicators on it before I polish it up for sale.

Is it worth it? A few hundred dollars worth of shiny bits would make it much better. But is it worth it?

Should I touch it up, or should I sell it with the caveat that those will need replacing soon?

You could chuck a set of "brighter, safer" LED indicators at it for $15 from fleabay and a flasher unit.
You can find more stylish mirrors on fleabay and same goes for bar-ends.

I do kind of like fleabay in case you didn't notice.

I'll get some photos up tomorrow morning, after the drunk flatmates have vacated my garage.
Up until then, you'll have to make do with this:

Uh oh, I hope when you get up tomorrow you don't have to add anything new to the list of parts....

IMO If the bike is still nice and shiney like the pic, and the new bits wouldn't be like putting makeup on a pig then it can't hurt, at a minimum you should get more interest in the bike and at least re-coup the money you spent on the new shiney bits.

First off of course you have to make it presentable, anyone who turns up to look will walk if the chains covered in scud, mud splashes everywhere etc.Dont bother spending $$ on things like led indicators, they wont add any value.Whats wrong with the mirrors? damage that cant be fixed?A couple of hours cleaning could sell it for you.

Bar end mirrors would kill 2 birds with one stone. if there's any with indicators on the backs, you could knock out the hat-trick.
