    Haha!

Actually........ haven't come off the black beastie the last two rides on Odlins or the last two on Sutherlands! Either my abilities are improving, or I'm riding like a nana......... the latter I think! Although I have convinced myself i'm just riding "sensibly"!!!! Haha!

    Cheers, Dave

Good onya paladin, I too have adopted a more sensible paced riding style ever since the NIIS ride and that crash on big river which held everyone up. I get home a lot more relaxed and less sweaty and with a lot less damage to repair.

As you were Back on topic.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Have we come to a consensus with were we are going to stay?
    Taumaranui seems easy/predictable.

Surely not. I couldn't imagine you going slow Woodman.

I too have decided to slow down a wee bit. The 650 doesn't quite handle like a dirt bike.........and it's a bit heavier to pick up when things go to shit.

No............it's just that the 650 is no where near as forgiving when you cock things up, which happens regularly to me.

I am if the Black Beastie DR gets sold! Then I might end up on a Wee Strom, maybe..... hence the "DR to DL???" tag!

Can't afford what I REALLY want, unfortunately!

    I'd have to agree.

I like the idea of staying somewhere like National Park but I don't know enough about accommodation options and its only 45km from National Park to Taumaranui
