Whanga rd is wet and bloody good fun .
there is a hole (like a thommo) in the middle of the track but it is marked .
have fun people.
the whip is going away for a girls weekend so i am at home milking and looking after the kids otherwise i'd be out there for sure with you all.

Have just been talking with the owner of Aotuhia stn and have permission to go threw on the weekend. There may be a few of us coming out from NP. We intend to do the loop, Whanga Rd , Aotuhia and end up back at Whanga again.

Have you done any of the little tracks that go off the main route through Aotuhia?

some of them are bloody good.

What time do you Latte drinkers expect to be passing through?

I've also had thoughts of sneaking up Takapari, and meeting you guys at Apiti, but I'd better not. Should get enough riding in without doing that track.

if we leave Pram by 9.15 we should get to Shannon by 10. leave Shannon about 10.15 ish so should get to Ashurst (Petrol Station?) about 10.30-10.45?

I'm keen to do Takapari before xmas if you want to come up with a plan

last time i was out Aotuhia about 8 weeks ago there was a channel cut across the main track . cant remember if it was a digger , but it was pretty square edged , so keep a look out for incase it is stil there .
if you hit it with your front wheel , you'll know about it.
