Dual Purpose/Dirt Bike Hire in Northland?

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone knew of anywhere to hire dirt or dual purpose bikes in Northland (preferably the top end). I've had a good search but everywhere that hires bikes seems to be based in major cities, so not much use.

My mate and I are planning on doing Bluff to Cape Reinga on our bikes over Christmas and New Years and we thought it'd be quite cool to do the last bit along 90mile beach, but our bikes aren't exactly built for sand (SV650 & ER6N (hopefully)).

Actually you will get them up the beach OK but I would go northwards if I was you[At low tide] cos then you get to ride out thru Te Paki stream which will clean your bike for you with fresh water!
