    Celtic Leathers

Has anybody bought race suits of Celtic Leathers.
Just wondering what did you think of his service and what did you think of the quality of the gear.

    Fireman Sam in NZ!

Well, whadaya know. Celtic Leathers are here in NZ now are they? I bought some made-to-measure leathers from Sam when he was still based in Ramsey, Isle of Man.

Are they good quality? They're the absolute ******g best you can buy (just look at the number of TT riders in Sam's leathers). I took him my favourite jeans in and just said: "Make these in leather". Five years later and after a shitload of wear they're as good as new. Hope he's as settled and happy here in NZ as we've become.

By the way, the 'Fireman Sam' thing comes from his having been a volunteer fireman back on the Island.

Yup, he's the man, met him today at manfield today where he sewed up a new centre zip on my jacket, took about 15 minutes, was happy for me to watch and more than happy to have a yarn.
