ACC - link to help with stats.

This is the sort of thing ACC need to be made aware of happening...

Yes ACC are most likely to be aware enough and well coherent enough, to turn around and say if the motorcyclist was in a car he most likely would not have the same injuries and therefore not be so expensive to fix.
By the countless articles written in overseas bike magazines it seems the common feeling in certain government departments is they would perfer bikers of the roads.

Shitty circumstances to have an off, hard to anticipate. I hope both mend fully, particularly the 3 year old.

Not wanting to be crass, and acknowledging I know absolutely zip about the circumstances of the accident - but I also hope the kid wasn't riding pillion or anything. That would be very bad indeed.

Does anyone else find it interesting that they lead with the motorcycle story, then move on to m/c story #2, then finally move on to the cars....

I think the media are scewing with our heads I'm even wondering what motorists are thinking when I overtake out on a ride, you can just imagine the conversation in the car which would go along the lines of something self righteous.
