    Taupo mufti tax gatherer

Gold Commodore SS wagon with mags and body kit. Probably works SH1 for all it's got.

Rumour has it that a good cage radar is Valentine One. Anybody heard anything about that baby?

    Thanks for that

I'm quite often in that area. Blue metallic Falcon also, based out of Tokoroa at present.

    Valentine One is the best.

I just scored one from work (stolen/recovery, I work for an insurance company), and the one time it's been used it seemed to work fairly well (I don't bother round town - I don't speed much and you get too much interference no matter how good your detector is) Gets good write ups everywhere.

Friend of mine uses a Valentine and swears by it. It saved him a wedge just the other day. He was passing a guy and the passee decided to speed up. Henry is always on for a race but he got a beep on the detector so he backed off. Four Ks along the road he came around a bend, the detector went off big time... and the cop was waving the other guy over.

A google search should lead to some informative reviews. The last ones I read were saying that some of the other manufacturers were catching Valentine but that would imply they are still at or about number one.

    I run a Valentine one + the H.A.R.D system.
Lou's right if its been setup right ( done for you if purchased thru radar direct ),
no false alarms ( even around town ) you just leave it on full detection and break like hell if it goes off.

Or a Passport Escort 8500 X50 most tests rate them pretty close. Escort is a lot cheaper $479 on Trade Me.

    Been very happy with mine.

Next to get is a Blinder Laser scrambler...

RMR stuff is a con. Never has worked, never will. It ignores the basic physics involved in radar. Get a Valentine or Escort 8500
