    Excellent day for it folks...

Love to be "in" it myself.... gotta work though, so will do what I can to help, even get my crew in on it too....

Although I can't officially "escort" you all, (as we must be seen to be unbiased and apolitical etc etc... ) I will be at Burgess Park Hill for "traffic safety reasons."

Will see you all there for a quick chat and see what else is required further on in town......

    A great turnout!
Special thanks to Naki Rat and taff1954 for doing a superb organising/research job!
I feel we were listened to.
Great to see some classic machinery there to!
And thanks to Patrick being there in his "unofficial" capacity...

    Thank you Taranaki

Being a Tuesday, workday and all that, we expected 30, 40, maybe a few more. To the several hundred that turned up, KB and non-KB alike, thanks.

With a little help from an ex MP (thanks Harry) we took a message to our local Nat MP, which as Pussy said, was well received by him.

Thanks all that worked behind the scenes, Naki Rat, Pussy etc. And Patrick for traffic control.

    And now on to Welly

Well I just thought that was a fantastic turn out, I gotta be honest I was quite worried that it might just be 15 blokes in a lay-by, but no, bloomin hundreds of people!

Well done every one behind it and well done to every one that turned out, made me proud to be a Taranaki biker today and then some. Brilliant.

The bloody Camera battery conked on me before I even got to the main bit but here's the three shots I did get. I only post them because you may be able to see yourself,I blame the stuffin camera operator myself.

I don't know who owns the bike in shot two but what a stunner it is

I think I can just see Nadroj in shot 3 maybe? And a very nice R5? you don't see many of those about.

    Cheers guys.

With the (main) local effort done today, the focus of this thread will now turn to getting people down to Wellington on the 17th.

Keep watching, same bat-place, same bat-channel

    Brilliant turn out!!!

Wow....What a great day it was.

Never thought we'd get that many people on a Tuesday.

Thanks to Taff,Pussy,Naki rat,and anyone else who helped do this event.
Thanks Patrick for your support too.

Good to know the Naki has a strong voice.

    P.S,
Thanks and a BIG ups to the Energy Honda guys for rushing my bike to the front of the bunch,so i could make the run.

It's times like these that make me proud to be from the Naki.

Brilliant turn out and couldn't have wished for better weather or behavior from all. Congratulations to all involved, you did motorcycling proud

Nice photos Phreaky Phil. As lead bike I looked back from the turn into Molesworth St (3 blocks on from photo 4) to see bikes still streaming over the crest of Boys High hill - very impressive
