I'm leaving more mid morning from NP. Want to be in the old hood in upper hutt mid arvo of the 16th. If anyone was thinking about leaving early than what Naki rat, etc have posted and want company let me know and we will hatch a plan.

Looks like I am going after all, probably leaving with Naki Rat & co from EGV, # 3 son along for the ride.

Thats great news mate! enjoy the ride down. I will be leaving from the Avalon duckpond with the Hutt valley lot for the main ride in on 17th. I will try and hook up with the Naki crew on the day.

Does that mean you carry on from Wellington to Munroe rally and enjoy the mainland?Be a bugger of a trip.

Enjoy the ride guys,be safe and seen.Bugger work gets in the way,especially as new job to start Monday,bit cheeky to ask for time off,and was looking forward to hitting the capital,ah well be there in spirit.

Does anyone know if there's going to be an assembly point for all the bikes to rally before heading on to parliament?

If so ,Where?

There's that many threads on this national ride,i couldn't be buggered looking through all of them for the answer.

It's all here. I'm pickin' that the SH1 Porirua (or Paraparaumu) collection point will be the go for most Naki riders.

The Manawatu crew are meeting in the square,and heading down SH57 to Levin,is a nice road for a detour.
